    2010 TV shows cancelled

With many of this years popular shows coming to an end with season finales, there were some shows that were not no lucky and will not be making it back next season.  Here is a list of t.v. shows that will not be returning next year.

    Better Off Ted (ABC)
Though many people loved the show, the series has never caught on with a mass audience. Season two’s ratings were terrible so it won’t be coming back for season three. ABC still has two unaired episodes. The show stars Portia de Rossi, Jay Harrington, Andrea Anders, and Jonathan Slavin.

    FlashForward (ABC)
This drama started out strong in the ratings but viewership kept dropping. Then, ABC put it on hiatus (in part because of the Olympics) and things got even worse. No season two.

    Heroes (NBC)
After seasons of declining ratings, NBC has pulled the plug. There are plans in the works to wrap up the series with an event of some kind.

The Hills (MTV)  After six seasons, the reality show is coming to a close.

    Law & Order (NBC)
This venerable crime drama was poised to surpass Gunsmoke as the longest-running primetime drama in US history. Unfortunately NBC and Dick Wolf couldn’t come to an agreement and the show is ending after 20 seasons.

    Mercy (NBC)
It looked like this medical drama was going to easily outperform fellow freshman series Trauma. Unfortunately Mercy couldn’t hold onto its audience and both shows have been cancelled.

    Trauma (NBC)
This San Francisco-based drama revolves around a group of brave first responders. The show struggled in the ratings from the start and NBC initially decided not to order any episodes beyond the initial 13 installments. They later changed their minds and ordered more. They didn’t do any better and the show was cancelled.

    The Tyra Banks Show (CW)
The diva and host says that she’s decided to cancel the show to focus more on producing. Other reports have indicated that the series was due to be cancelled because of budget issues.

    Ugly Betty (ABC)
ABC has decided to cancel the show after four seasons because of declining ratings in both seasons three and four. The series finale aired on on April 14, 2010.

In public, Sandra Bullcok has been through the best and worst of times this year – from winning her first Oscar to enduring the breakup of her marriage. In private, she was quietly keeping a joyful secret – his name is Louis, and he is her newborn son.

“He’s just perfect, I can’t even describe him any other way,” Bullock reveals exclusively in the new issue of PEOPLE, announcing that she is the proud mother of Louis Bardo Bullock, a 3½-month-old boy, born in New Orleans. “It’s like he’s always been a part of our lives.”

Bullock, 45, and husband Jesse James, 41, began the adoption process four years ago and brought Louis home in January but decided to keep the news to themselves until after the Oscars. Their close friends and family – including James’s children Sunny, 6, Jesse Jr., 12, and Chandler, 15 – were essential in keeping the adoption a secret.

Then, just 10 days after the March 7 Oscars, Bullock and James separated following reports James had cheated. Bullock says she is now finalizing the adoption as a single parent.

Tiger Woods and wife Elin Nordegren appear to be stepping up their lives apart.

Monday in Orlando, Fla., the golf champ attended a Nickelback concert – where, according to TMZ, he partied backstage surrounded by a security team. Earlier that night, he and friends dined together in a restaurant, reports Radar Online, an event described as his first public outing since the sex scandal that broke last November.

Meanwhile, Elin and the couple’s two children, Sam and Charlie, took off for Sweden, despite the volcanic ash spewing into the skies from Iceland which grounded the majority of Scandinavian and European flights. “Elin and her children have arrived in a very north area, much north of Stockholm,” a source in the Swedish capital tells PEOPLE.
