    SeaWorld Trainer Death

The fate of the whale that killed its trainer in Orlando, Florida yesterday has not yet been decided. This is the third time the animal has been involved in the death of a human. The trainer was petting the whale named Tilikum when she was grabbed by the ponytail and pulled into the water where she drowned. Earlier a policeman suggested she may have slipped and fallen into the tank, but members of the audience said that she had been dragged underwater by the whale. Trainers at Sea World said it was too early to say what would happen to the whale. SeaWorld has suspended killer whale shows at all its sites after Brancheau’s death. After similar incidents in the past, animals have often been transferred to another park.

    No More Jon

The popular TLC show Jon and Kate Plus Eight debuted in early 2007. Their show featuring a happily married couple and their eight children, six of them being sextuplets. Up until recently the show has been a success, showing the life of such a large family and how they work through hardships faced.

Earlier this year one of their most public hardships proved to be to much for the family. The marriage displayed for the past 2 years was quickly unraveling and was out for the country to see. They became even larger public figures than they already were. This stress became to much for the father, Jon Gosselin. He has decided not to continue the TLC show as of November 2nd. It will continue to air but go by the new title of Kate Plus 8.
