Earlier this week when news broke about Sandra Bullock’s recent adoption to a baby boy named Louis, adoption expert is breaking down the process of adoption and what is upcoming in the future. This baby boy from New Orleans took her about 4 years to get but she feel exteremly lucky to have him now. This long process is most likely still continuing for Bullock because of the divorce there may be complication for Bullock so its not hard for Louis.

For one-night only Highlands Ranch High School will put on a command preformance of its spring musical “Big, the Musical” at 7pm on Friday, April 30.  This Musical is an adaption of the popular 1988 Tom Hanks film ”Big” about a 12 year-old boy, Josh Baskins. He is granted the opportunity for a wish by a Zoltar Speaks machine at a carnival. Thanks to this one wish he grows up overnight. With the aid of his best friend, Josh must cope with his new adulthood while finding another “Zoltar” machine so that he can wish himself a kid again. Highlands Ranch High School will be preforming their own version of this movie as their school musical.

     Federal investigators are looking into the weekend near collision of a commercial jet and small airplane near San Francisco International Airport. The Federal Aviation Administration is taking strong measures to make sure something similar does not occur in the future. Following Saturday’s near-miss between United Airlines Flight 889 to Beijing, China, and a light-wing airplane, FAA spokesman Ian Gregor said The National Transportation Safety Board also is investigating. The closest the planes came to each other was 300 feet vertically and 1,500 feet horizontally. The United flight continued to Beijing with no further incident. Air traffic controllers cleared the United flight, a Boeing 777 carrying 251 passengers, for takeoff at 11:15 a.m. and quickly spotted the Cessna 182 flying south. They have to go through a process to make a fair evaluation of what happened, and if they need to fix something, they will.

The fate of the whale that killed its trainer in Orlando, Florida yesterday has not yet been decided. This is the third time the animal has been involved in the death of a human. The trainer was petting the whale named Tilikum when she was grabbed by the ponytail and pulled into the water where she drowned. Earlier a policeman suggested she may have slipped and fallen into the tank, but members of the audience said that she had been dragged underwater by the whale. Trainers at Sea World said it was too early to say what would happen to the whale. SeaWorld has suspended killer whale shows at all its sites after Brancheau’s death. After similar incidents in the past, animals have often been transferred to another park.

The driver of the pickup was killed when the crash happened on thursday on the bridge over Parker Road. The highway was closed for several hours on Thursday night because of the crash.The name of the victim was not immediately released and investigators are still trying to determine what caused the crash. The driver of the street sweeper is fortunatly not injured.
