With winter just around the corner here in the Northern Hemisphere, Summer is hitting below the equator. The beaches of Australia are a hotspot for tourism, with clear waters and warm sun. This was an extremely appealing place to visit, at least until recently.

September 11th was the kick off of the largest anime and manga convention in Colorado, Nan Desu Kan (NDK). NDK attendees are often called “freaks” when outside of the convention center, but this certainly won’t stop them from having fun. Read more…
Nintendo has finally released the game that is Wii Sports Resort, sequel to Wii Sports. The game was the first to introduce Wii Motion Plus, designed to make the Wiimote accurately trace motions. Nice job Nintendo, way to take three years to make the Wii do what it was always supposed to do.

Pokémon: it’s rare to find a person that doesn’t know what the franchise is, especially with its booming popularity in the 90s. Back in 1999, the Generation II games, Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver were released in the states. These games collectively sold over 23 million copies worldwide by the time they were pulled off retailer shelves.
