RV Hockey Gets 2nd in State, Loses in Overtime
A nail-biter hockey game went down at the 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, where Ralston Valley went up against Colorado Springs team Lewis Palmer for the state hockey title. The game was going well for Ralston Valley, who was leading 2-1 going into the final minute of the 3rd period, until Lewis Palmer scored, sending the championship game into overtime. After a few rough minutes of overtime play, Lewis Palmer scored, winning the title. The Mustangs really played well today, with four times as many shots on goal and a strong defense, but in the end, a quick shot won it for Lewis Palmer. Congrats Mustangs on a great season!
