The Nuggets faced off against the L.A. Lakers today for the third time this season, but unlike the other games the Lakers cames out on top.

The nuggets had a good record of wins against the defending national champions, including a win without star player Carmelo Anthony. Today they had a 9 point lead at half time but couldn’t hold off the Lakers hard press attack. Even when Kobe Bryant only had 14 points the Nuggets couldn’t fend the rest of the Lakers off. This should not be too big of a worry for the Nuggets because if they tune up a few aspects of their game they can put up a good fight against the Lakers, even if it’s in the playoffs.
