iTunes hits 10 Billion

The ever popular Apple company logo, displayed on every product and cars of Apple fans worldwide.

The ever popular music downloading store iTunes, had its 10 billionth download happen this month, by none other than a 71 year old ma, Louie Sulcer.

Sulcer, was making his rounds on iTunes looking for some old Johnny Cash songs he may have missed, when he hit the download button and helped iTunes reach that golden number of 10 billion. The song in question is Cash’s “Guess Things Happen That Way,” off the album “Sings the Songs That Made Him Famous,” which was one of Johnny Cash’s early albums released in 1958.

After Sulcer downloaded the song, he was then called by none other than the president of Apple himself, Steve Jobs, who then told Sulcer about the contest Apple was having to try and get 10 billion downloads.

Sulcer was completely unaware of the contest, but was most delighted to find he gets a $10,000 gift card to the iTunes store.
