Girls’ Track: Anticipating Doom!

101_8029First off, I am proud to make the first true news post on rvhsnews.com.

For those of you who are new to the Xpress, welcome. One of our recurring features is a sort of day-in-the-life of RVHS athletes. Ashley Pajor and I go to opposite gender sports practices for one day and see what it’s like. Today, I’m going to girls’ track.

HOLY EXPLETIVE!

After the disaster that was girls’ cross country last semester, I am very anxious. I do not run. I am not athletic. I do sports with a pen and paper.

Hopefully I won’t die too much, but, I suppose, it would all be worth it to provide you, the reader, with some entertainment. Here’s my pre-track emotion summed up:

Aaaaah! Ashley, stop posting how much you will laugh at me on your blog (click here)! I’m going to have a panic attack (we are at T-18 minutes), but that’s okay because as long as it’s in the name of journalism, everything is just fine!

Please check back in a couple of hours for my initial reaction after practice and check back April 15 (or the print version of that date) for the full stories from Ashley and me.
