James Cameron Who is director of Titanic and Avatar beat himself at the box offices.

Avatar the 3-D phenomeneom has beaten Titanic as number one selling movie ever in box office history. $1.86 billion vs. $1.84 billion. And it has only been out for 6 weeks! Ranking in a total of $1,858,866,889. James Cameron now holds the number one and two spot for highest growsing box office.
